What is ZB1?
ZB1 is a Korean-Pop group consisting of 9 members. The group was conceived out of Boys Planet, a survival show hosted by M-net and Wakeone in order to create a new boy group at the end. Unlike M-net's previous survival show Girls Planet 999, in which there were only trainees from Korea, China, and Japan, Boys Planet contestants were divided into 2 groups: K-Group for Korean contestants, and G-Group for global contestants. The hosts of the show were called Star Masters. With the help of the masters, contestants were evaluated through competitions in which the performed together as groups for an audience. Through said competitons, high scoring contestants count win certain benefits, like earning extra votes or performing on M-Countdown.Star Creators (fans of the show) could vote daily for members, and ranking reveals and eliminations were held regularly. Throughout the duration of the show, there was always a top 9, and the final Top 9 at the end of the show would win and join the new group.

Fun Fact: Zhang Hao is the first global trainee to win first place in the finale of a M-NET survival show.

ZB1 is currenly under WakeOne Entertainment, the same group Kepler (the girl group that debuted out of Girls Planet 999) is under. They debuted on July 10th, 2023 with their mini-album In Bloom, consisting of 6 times. Updates on them can be found on this site.
